[12] Arizona Matsuri

Its already March and almost April! I made it a point to blog after New Years, but it didn't work out. Technically though, I still am blogging after New Years... heh. I'm more than half way through the last semester of my first year in college! I have to say that it is a nice experience and even though I only met one new friend and my hatred for dorm life continues, I'm glad I decided to go to uni.

Hopefully this summer will be exciting! I might get to go abroad and teach English in South Korea. Depending on if I pass the interview and the mock teaching lesson. And if not, i'll probably be going to New York (maybe). Its all still up the air though.

In late February my friends and I went to the Matsuri in Arizona. Most people who go there are cosplaying, including my friends, but its not my cup of tea. I don't even go trick-or-treating anymore. I just steal the candy from our stash lol.

The festival is always so busy with cosplayers and their massive outfits. I've only really been to Matsuri twice and both times it was super packed. I normally go there to stock up on some Japanese candy. And then eat it within the day.

I always tell myself that if EXO comes out with something that is not a CD or DVD, I wouldn't get it. But I tend not to listen to myself very well and I ended up buying a key chain.

The iPhone case was something I bought 9 months back. But inner shopping Anna told me I had to have it even though I didn't have an iPhone5 at the time. ahaha I want the new EXO First Box but I keep on holding myself back thinking that I can ask for it for my birthday and keep my money for their new CD. I had to talk myself out of buying the EXO STARDIUM tote bag by saying it was just a canvas tote with a broach. I could make it. But of course I'm not going to.

I hope you enjoyed this slightly more personal post. I bought a memebox recently and I hope that I can do a review on it as well as (maybe) the Naked 3 palette and some Madewell clothes

New layout, new year!

[11] Soooo.... I wanted to take photos but...

I've been gone since September aha...

/ignores

For Christmas I got an Canon 40mm lens and I wanted to take some pictures. But I never leave the house so I decided to take pictures of my cds
yayyy

I've always thought that I had quite a decent collection of kpop cds and its true. Its grown a lot since I first started collecting in February 2011. My Grandparents had given me s $100 gift card to Best Buy so like each week a new Super Junior cd was coming. My first ever cd was SJ-M's Perfection Repackaged albums.
More recently though I have started to collect EXO's albums. and my recently I mean I've followed them since the teaser era and I always pre-order their cds so its been like a year+

Lets start with the beginning of EXO...

I know a lot of people do not have these since they are going for around $100 now. I bought my History CD for around $75 because it is slightly damaged on the inside and my What is Love cd was bought for $80. These are pretty cool but after a bought them I was always thinking "Why?"
Buyer's remorse.
But sometimes I look at these and I am really happy that I bought these.

My favorite era ever was the MAMA era. The song, the MV, and the clothes were all awesome and I don't think anything could top it. The album was designed in a very cool way.

After the year-long wait EXO released the XOXO album which is my favourite album song wise. I loved every song that was in this album.

Since XOXO has most of the songs that are in here other than a few. But the new ones that were included were not my favorite. They didn't appeal to me, and that includes Growl. I admit that Growl is a good song but it is just not my style and XOXO and Lucky are songs that I haven't gotten into yet...

MID is such a cute album. All of the songs are adorable. They really put a lot of time and effort into this album for the fans. Sooo many ballads...

The Luhan MAMA photocard is my favorite. When I first got it and held it I immediately put it back in the album and it didn't register in my mind that it was Luhan's until like five minutes later. Sehun's is the only one that I actually purchased. I also have the group and Sehun for the snowglobe standees for my MID album.

And everything is stuffed in a Madewell shopping bag lol. Everything used to be set up in like a "kpop shrine" format but then there were too many EXO cds and I had my Japanese magazines siting right next to them so I started to run out of room.

I was thinking about switching to a wordpress blog but I don't know where to host... Site5 has pretty cheap rates. I might do it when I finally get a part time job. also the domain is now sehun.org. It used my be my tumblr's domain but tumblr had a hard time loading straight domians so now my tumblr is main.sehun.org because subdomains work. and i also have blog.sehun.org which is more fashion.
